MAZE RUNNER
Early Learning Centres (ELC)
Maze Runner is not available for ELCs. The challenges are a little too complex and we are yet to develop something in the same vein tailored to such a young age group.
Our Firefighter for a day and Amaze Balls incursions are perfect for ELCs and can be tailored to suit your theme or inquiry unit at the time of booking.
Schools
Maze Runner is suitable from Prep & foundation years through to Year 12.
There are 4 very different mazes to overcome and the only way to do this is by working together, strategising and communicating.
The outcome is unity, honesty and trust – all very important in our Firefighting lives. As usual FUN, FUN and more FUN is the highest priority however throughout the Maze Runner Challenge.
Holiday Programs Incursions
Maze Runner for Holiday programs is fun – fun – fun! Kids will be challenged mentally, physically and socially, working together to overcome 4 very different mazes. Each maze will unveil a clue to help each team to crack the master lock code.
Once again, our aim is to send kids home with an experience they will remember and benefit from for a long time to come.

Team Building & Events
Maze Runner is a competitive and challenging team building activity for groups of any size. Designed to be more complex for adults, teams will need to use effective communication, strategize, plan, adapt and overcome. Without time management skills, it might all be a flop!
Above all, teams will engage and connect with each other in order to achieve the goals set for the day.

Our Activities
The team at HEAT Kids are excited to introduce, Maze Runner. We apply our ethos of teamwork, mateship and camaraderie to all our
challenges and Maze Runner is no different. Children and adults work together on 4 very different challenges to unveil a clue which ultimately helps them to crack the master lock code.
With challenges like the Billy Cart Slalom Course, Slingshot Footsies, Escape Room, and Radioactive Marble Run, it’s guaranteed FUN, FUN and more FUN!

What is the program based on?
All our activities are designed around the Firefighter’s ethos of teamwork, camaraderie and hard work. Being kind, helpful, inclusive and never leaving your mates behind.
WHAT AGE GROUPS ARE YOUR PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR?
All activities are tailored to the age group we are catering for on the day. Everyone participates.
We find participants have to be at least 3 to get the most out of the experiences – remember we run incursions for ELC so we are well versed with the younger age group.
Yes, we ramp it up for the older kids / adults too!
HOW LONG DOES A PROGRAM RUN FOR?
It all depends on the experience. Usually an incursion will run for 2 hours and run either in the morning or afternoon and we also offer a 4 hour option. During holiday programs, we tailor the activities to suit one hour slot, same with birthdays!
We can tailor pretty much anything for your school, holiday camp or corporate day. Just give us a call and we can chat about the options… there’s not much we can’t do!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU NEED TO BOOK?
The earlier the better. Usually by the start of any given month, we are booked out for that month but we try and make it work for everyone. We don’t have a quiet month, if you book in Winter, we move indoors.
WHAT DO YOU BRING?
Other than our incredible sense of humour, we bring everything you need! Our mission is to create an experience the children will remember for a very long time. Our set up is extensive (it usually takes us an hour to set up for a 2 hour session) and we supply all the equipment, bump in ontime, and bump out when we are done, leaving the grounds as we found it.

When we began Heat, we designed challenging Firefighter experiences for corporate team building days – so YES, they absolutely are. Check our Team Building page for what an “Adult” Firefighter day would look like for you. Again, we do tailor experiences and our activities cater for all fitness levels.
